Strategy

The Wiltshire Strategic Economic Partnership (WSEP) is developing a new economic strategy for Wiltshire, in consultation with all interested parties in the area.

The Strategy will identify key economic priorities for the area and will link to the regional economic priorities in the Single Regional Strategy currently being prepared by the South West of England Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) on behalf of the region.

The Strategy will be informed by and will inform the Wiltshire Sustainable Community Strategy and associated Local Agreement for Wiltshire (LAW).

Whilst the new economic strategy for Wiltshire is being developed, partners are working to the LAW, the Bright report on the Impact of the Credit Crunch in Wiltshire and the existing Wiltshire and Swindon Economic Strategy 2003-2008.
